SUCCESS STORY from PULPTECH (www.pulptech.us)

Pope & Talbot, Nanaimo purchases their 4th repeat KC/3 Blade Consistency Meter from Kajaani Process Measurements (KPM).

Mr. Ken Brayden, the instrument supervisor at Pope & Talbot, Nanaimo, is very happy with the performance and the value of the new KC/3. He is particularly pleased in the way the Instrument Mechanics feel comfortable work with these sensors thanks to the very easy and friendly "smart" user interface. Some of the reasons Ken feels these sensors have become the "standard" at his mill are:

  1. low maintenance thanks to the robust seal-less construction (guaranteed for 5 years not to leak)
  2. low purchase cost
  3. accuracy and sensitivity of the measurement
  4. simple user-friendly set-up and operation including unique and helpful features not found in other meters
  5. the Instrument Mechanics like to work with them

Since the introduction of the KC/3 some 6 months ago, Kajaani Process Measurements has sold over 100 units world wide. Customers are appraising the KC/3 for its many unique features and performance.

To truly realize the great value and performance of this sensor, we need to get the first one in your mill. I will be happy to help you get started and I know from customer feedback that the KC/3 will become the new standard blade consistency at your mill. KPM is offering a $800 dollar trade-in program to get started. Send us a Metso Pulp-EL or Smart Pulp in working condition or not (or any other manufactures consistency transmitter) and we will give you $800 dollars towards an already much less priced KC/3.

If you have any problems with your consistency applications, please do not hesitate to take advantage of Kajaani Process Measurements solid "know how" and experience. Other great consistency products include ISO-torq Rotary Consistency Meter, Toshiba Microwave Consistency Meter and KPM's Manual and Automatic Sampling Valves for all consistency sampling at your mill.
