SZ8 SealCooler for Saving Seal Water
SZ8 SealCooler™ Thermosiphon System is designed with an advanced and completely new ways to succeed simple and robust structure. The thermosiphon system developed by Flow Control is especially designed to be used for the dual seals, which has pumping features. The pumping feature improves a sealing liquid’s circulation in the thermosiphon system, in which case the mechanical seals can be cooled and lubricated more efficiently. The system minimizes the dry running on the seal and extends the life of the seal. The system also generates savings in sealing water consumption compared to external flush system. SZ8 SealCooler™ Thermosiphon System is designed with an advanced and completely new ways to succeed simple and robust structure. Reduced number of accessories simplifies installation and commissioning making the system very easy to use. The height differences between the liquid surfaces of the system with a mechanical seal and the SZ8 SealCooler are now higher than the traditional system. This will improve a sealing liquid’s circulation in the system. In addition, the seal connections and the diameter of the hoses/pipes have been increased. This improves the reliability of the seal and reduces the risk of clogging. Designed for pressurized and unpressurized dual seal applications.
